Episode 115: Till Death Do Us Part

Roy Layton, living in a cheap boarding house, meets Linda McKelvey, who offers him $5,000 to marry her before her 25th birthday to inherit a quarter of a million dollars. They marry, but Roy's attempt to make Linda fall in love with him fails, so he plots to kill her. His first attempt fails, and his second plan, to loosen the handrail on the balcony, ultimately leads to his arrest when he confesses his motive to the police.
