Episode 56: Justice

Elderly farmer John Henderson, recently married to Martha, struggles with his son Matthew's hostility towards his new stepmother. When John dies mysteriously from arsenic poisoning, suspicion falls on Martha and Matthew. As Martha and Henry run the farm and Matthew is convicted of the crime, a surprising twist unfolds when a letter from Martha's safe deposit box exonerates Matthew and incriminates Martha. In a final double-cross, it is revealed that Martha herself was also poisoned. The Whistler narrates this tale of treachery and justice.
